Subsea 7 are currently seeking an Communications Advisor to work within our London office of the Africa & Gulf of Mexico Territory (office based in Sutton, south west London).
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a pro-active HR team who deliver informative and engaging communications to internal and external stakeholders based in the UK and overseas.?
Working within a fast paced, challenging environment, you will play an invaluable role in promoting business success, technological expertise and career development opportunities to internal personnel as well as local schools, Universities, and other businesses, to raise the profile of Subsea 7 as an employer in Sutton, and engineering as a career option, while assisting the AFGOM London HR Director in the delivery of the Communications strategy.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate the ability to get the right messaging to each internal and external stakeholder group to engage, inform and motivate
• Conduct meetings with personnel to gather project information which can be used to create interesting and insightful updates, distributed across internal channels to encourage effective two-way dialogue
• Support the daily creation and revision of content on Subsea 7's intranet news site: 7 ONLINE
• Prepare and deliver a range of informative internal communications, this can include email news alerts, management updates, town hall presentations, employee engagement communications, 7 ONLINE and internal newsletters
• Measure internal activities and report back to the AFGOM London HR Director successes and recommendations for future campaigns
• Support retention projects which promote specific initiatives across multiple business units, offices and disciplines
• Make recommendations for new employee engagement communications
• Ensure all communications consistently adhere to corporate brand guidelines regarding employer value proposition, vision and values, brand profile, messaging and tone of voice
• Provide support and guidance to the Communications Co-ordinator
• Any other duties as required

SPECIFIC DUTIES AS PART OF THE AFGOM LONDON OFFICE;

-?????????? Ensuring stocks of Brochures/ Giveaways are current/ adequately stocked

-?????????? Town Hall organisation
-?????????? Team 30 organisation
-?????????? Team Brief organisation
-?????????? Regular updating of the AFGOM London 7Online pages and ensuring content is current
-?????????? Collation of bank of office film footage of our project/ operations and social activities
-?????????? Look at nominating local charity for the office to support

CANDIDATES SHOULD FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE;
?

• - Good education ideally in an Arts or similar degree discipline
• - Relevant experience of working in a Communications environment
• - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• - Ability to adapt to new ideas and embrace new ways of working
• - IT savvy with a good knowledge of presentation tools
• - Positive, proactive approach to working and able to represent the company in a professional manner
